SportPlus Academy runs camps for every major school break: summer, winter, spring, and even one-day-camps on school holidays. Our Summer Break Camps run June, July, and first half of August. Spring Break and Winter Break Camps run the weeks that are most common for K-12 school breaks in the Matthews - Indian Trail area.
At other places, many camps function more like child care, with the priority being supervised play to simply keep kids occupied throughout the day. There's little effort by camp organizers to foster learning and growth. SportPlus Camps are different: you come, you learn.

We have offered camps like Mathematics Camp, Sewing Camp, Ballet Camp, our signature all-sports and art SportPlus Camp, Art Camp, Dance Camp and more. Summer camps run the months of June, July, and the first two weeks of August before school starts.
Some camps are full day camps going from 9am to 5pm (with option for extended pick up and drop off hours of 8am and 6pm) and others are half day camps that run either morning session 9am-1pm or afternoon session of 1:00-5pm. Camp offerings change every summer so give us a call or check our Facebook for more information.

Campers learn sports like gymnastics, soccer, basketball, and dance while also engaging their minds with math, chess, and art instruction. Talk about a spring break well spent!
Options include full day camp running from 9am-5pm, with option for extended pick up and drop off hours to 8am and 6pm, as well as half day camp options.

Come spend your teacher workdays and other school holidays learning new skills and activities! SportPlus hosts day camps on all school holidays in the Union County Schools calendar. Spots are limited and are first come first serve. Registration firmly closes one day prior to each holiday/ school day off.

SportPlus Academy has been located in Indian Trail since 2021, serving neighborhoods across Charlotte, including Monroe, Matthews, Unionville, Wesley Chapel, and Weddington.
SportPlus was founded by a local mother who felt the challenges many parents face. She wanted her children to enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities, but quality programs and kids' sports in Charlotte were scattered. While traveling abroad, she discovered "kid super centers"—large, all-in-one facilities where children could explore multiple sports. She asked herself, "Why isn’t there a center like this near me?"
Other parents in Indian Trail felt the same way. Compared to central Charlotte, it was clear that our area was underserved. So, the dream began: why not build a place near us, where sports and learning come together under one roof?
Indian Trail is home. And it was clear to us that there was no better place to build this premier kids' center for youth enrichment—a center where children can find a sport they love and pursue it, where they can learn and challenge their minds, and where they can become healthier and smarter.
We invite you to visit us and discover the possibilities yourself!
