Ballet is a beautiful and graceful form of performative dance that teaches students discipline, flexibility, strength, and coordination. Each ballet dance class emphasizes the fundamentals of ballet, guiding students through proper posture, technique, and fluidity of movement.
Our ballet program is based on the Russian ballet school, a ballet methodology that highlights fluid movement, dramatic expression, and strong technical foundations. Through this classical training, students not only refine their physical strength and discipline but also develop confidence and resilience.
The SportPlus ballet curriculum encourages creativity and self-expression. This blend of technical training and personal expression prepares students to shine both in the studio and beyond.

Our intermediate ballet classes meet twice a week. These classes challenge students to grow while preparing them for advanced levels of performance.

Private ballet training is by appointment only, for refinement of skills in a 1-on-1 setting with coach.

Tuition payment for all SportPlus classes is due on the 1st of each month. Tuition fees are non-refundable. Any missed classes due to illness, vacation, or other reasons are not refunded. Exceptions may be made in certain cases with proper advance notice.

SportPlus Academy has been located in Indian Trail since 2021, serving neighborhoods across Charlotte, including Monroe, Matthews, Unionville, Wesley Chapel, and Weddington.
SportPlus was founded by a local mother who felt the challenges many parents face. She wanted her children to enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities, but quality programs and kids' sports in Charlotte were scattered. While traveling abroad, she discovered "kid super centers"—large, all-in-one facilities where children could explore multiple sports. She asked herself, "Why isn’t there a center like this near me?"
Other parents in Indian Trail felt the same way. Compared to central Charlotte, it was clear that our area was underserved. So, the dream began: why not build a place near us, where sports and learning come together under one roof?
Indian Trail is home. And it was clear to us that there was no better place to build this premier kids' center for youth enrichment—a center where children can find a sport they love and pursue it, where they can learn and challenge their minds, and where they can become healthier and smarter.
