Our approach to training is based on a deep focus on soccer fundamentals and skills. We work on all phases of soccer, covering all parts of the game, with adjustments to the training based on the child's skill level. With us, soccer training ranges from beginner classes- with a focus on learning correct fundamentals and technique from the beginning to intermediate classes- refinement of skills and flow of the game, all the way up to advanced soccer personal training
Our approach to soccer training is based on mastering fundamentals and developing key skills. We cover all phases of the game, from offense to defense, ensuring that every child builds a well-rounded understanding of soccer. Training is tailored to each child's skill level: beginner classes that have a focus on learning correct fundamentals and technique from the beginning to intermediate classe, which feature a refinement of skills and flow of the game, all the way up to advanced soccer personal training. All classes happens in our indoor soccer facility.
Whether your child is new to the sport or has aspirations to play competitively, our soccer program offers a supportive and challenging environment for players of all levels.

Private soccer personal training is by appointment only, for refinement of skills in a 1-on-1 setting with Coach Elio.

30 days prior to the dropping month. If you did not let us know 30 days

Coach Elio's football philosophy focuses on using the socratic method in order to develop the player thinking and decision making. My ultimate goal is to teach players to make their own decisions while on the pitch- full autonomy is my ultimate goal. For younger players I use fun and educational drills where they can run wild with their imagination. It’s very important that younger players have a well established foundation where they can learn and grow from.
Coach Elio has been coaching youth soccer for 8 years. Coach Elio served as soccer director of 316 Sports Indian Trail NC. He coached boys and girls at Charlotte Soccer Academy. Currently, Coach Elio holds an active US Soccer C license and has also two youth soccer certificates from Grupo Ekipo lead by Prof. Enrique Cesana, Argentina’s national teams youth development coach.

SportPlus Academy has been located in Indian Trail since 2021, serving neighborhoods across Charlotte, including Monroe, Matthews, Unionville, Wesley Chapel, and Weddington.
SportPlus was founded by a local mother who felt the challenges many parents face. She wanted her children to enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities, but quality programs and kids' sports in Charlotte were scattered. While traveling abroad, she discovered "kid super centers"—large, all-in-one facilities where children could explore multiple sports. She asked herself, "Why isn’t there a center like this near me?"
Other parents in Indian Trail felt the same way. Compared to central Charlotte, it was clear that our area was underserved. So, the dream began: why not build a place near us, where sports and learning come together under one roof?
Indian Trail is home. And it was clear to us that there was no better place to build this premier kids' center for youth enrichment—a center where children can find a sport they love and pursue it, where they can learn and challenge their minds, and where they can become healthier and smarter.
